The General Assembly of Generations for Rights Over the World (GROW) was held online on Saturday, 20 September 2025.

This edition was particularly symbolic, as it marked the end of the mandate of GROW’s first executive board, as well as the conclusion of the co-chairing of the two co-founders, Marie and Vincent.

This important moment provided an opportunity to review the achievements of the past year, to present the activity report, and to open a new chapter in GROW’s story.

The annual report 2024 was adopted unanimously, reflecting the members’ confidence in the direction and projects carried out by the organisation.

The report will soon be available in English.

The General Assembly also saw the election of new members to the Steering Committee, which met the following week to form the new executive board, elected for a one-year renewable term.

The new executive board is composed as follows:

  • Sabrina Flih & Antoine Fèvre Caquille: Co-Chairs
  • Kélia Daubenfeld & Frida Minaire Nielsen: Co-Secretaries General
  • Solène Paris: Treasurer

A new dynamic for GROW

This new board will continue to uphold GROW’s founding values: defending human rights, promoting youth participation, and strengthening international solidarity. It will carry upcoming projects with enthusiasm and commitment, guided by a spirit of collaboration, engagement, and knowledge-sharing.

A key moment of the meeting was the formal adoption of GROW’s new strategy, the result of a long and collective process carried out throughout the year.

This strategy sets the main directions for the years ahead, structured around three core ambitions:

  • Strengthen the impact of actions for human rights and civic participation
  • Develop GROW’s presence across Europe and encourage partnerships
  • Promote youth engagement and inclusion in all GROW activities

This roadmap marks an important step in the consolidation and professionalisation of the organisation.

Acknowledgements and future outlook

The General Assembly was also a time for heartfelt thanks and recognition for Marie and Vincent, GROW’s co-founders and first co-chairs. Their dedication, vision, and determination have laid the strong foundations on which the organisation continues to grow today.

Their commitment will remain a lasting source of inspiration for the new team, determined to carry forward this collective momentum and continue building GROW’s mission together.
