GROW’s General Assembly takes place every year in September, marking this year the anniversary of the think tank’s creation four years ago. It provides an opportunity to take stock of the past year’s activities, adopt the activity report and financial report, elect new members to the Board of Directors, and take decisions on the organisation’s operations, positioning and priorities for the coming year.
Usually held online, for the first time this year the General Assembly was organised in a hybrid format. Some of our members had the opportunity to meet up in Lille, while those unable to travel joined in online. A total of 29 out of 36 members attended, nine of them in person.
This year’s meeting was marked by the election of three new members to the Board of Directors: Emilie Delahais, Lucie Fayoux and Jade Roger, who officially join Marie Chapot and Vincent Lefebvre on the Board of Directors of the organisation, where they had temporarily replaced the resigning members last year. Following their election, they were respectively appointed Co-General Secretary and Treasurer of the organisation.
We would like to thank the European School of Political and Social Sciences for providing logistical support for our in-person event.
You can find below the 2023 activity report adopted at the General Assembly on September 21, 2024. It summarises all the work carried out and published on GROW’s website and social media platforms during 2023, and structures it around our two main lines of work: raising awareness of human rights issues, and advocating for legislative and regulatory frameworks and practices that are ever more respectful of everyone’s rights.
